5 Tips to Improve Your Morning Routine: Quarantine Edition

Another Monday rolls around (or is it Tuesday?), and you’ve got a full day ahead. Working from home, taking care of kids, attending online classes…your schedule is as hectic as ever during quarantine!

And with stay-at-home orders in place in many states, it’s tempting to fumble out of bed five minutes before your first Zoom meeting and hangout in your PJ’s all day.

But establishing a good routine is important, especially in times like these. So, we’re here with five morning routine tips to help you start the day off right!

Wake Up Early

Waking up early is a great way to get a jump start on your “To Do List” or enjoy a little time to yourself. Try going to bed and waking up at the same time each day for a more restful and effective sleep.

Don’t Check Your Phone

Many of us check our phones first thing in the morning. Reading emails, reviewing our calendar, scrolling through social media...all before we even get out of bed.

Give your mind a moment of relaxation before jumping into the day. Don’t touch your phone until your first cup of coffee is finished!

Shower & Get Dressed

Don’t skip the shower. We repeat: Don’t skip the shower. A refreshing rinse with our Cucumber Seaweed Whipped Soap + Scrub or Spearmint Lemongrass bar soap will help awaken your senses so you feel (and smell) better.

We also recommend changing out of this week’s jammies and into your most professional pair of sweats for maximum productivity.

Eat a Good Breakfast

Fuel your body with the energy it needs to get through the day. Breakfast is also a great time for families to relax together before the day starts.

Keep It Simple!

It’s a strange time, so go easy on yourself. Not up at 6 am? That’s cool. Didn’t cook a Michelin star breakfast for your little ones? Don’t sweat it. Still in your pajamas at noon? We probably are, too.

Start with little changes and go from there. You’ll be conquering your mornings (and days) in no time!

In the meantime...stay safe and sudsy!
